Privacy Notice
Last updated: 25 October 2026
CoLab Works Limited respects your privacy. This notice explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you visit our website, contact us, complete our online assessments or engage our services.
1. Who we are
CoLab Works Limited is an Irish consultancy working across strategy, systems and people.
We are the data controller for the personal information we collect for the purposes described in this notice.
Email: hello@colabworks.ie
Where we process personal information on behalf of a client, the relevant project arrangements and privacy information also apply.
2. Information we collect

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the necessity of the processing and its impact on your rights.
Submitting an enquiry or completing an assessment does not automatically subscribe you to a newsletter or marketing list.
4. Our online assessments
Our assessments help you explore organisational topics and receive practical guidance.
They are not anonymous. Your contact and professional details are stored alongside your answers, results and follow-up preference in our Zite workspace. Authorised CoLab Works users can access this information and identify who submitted it.
Results appear on screen. Reports are generated through Zite’s PDF service, and the system attempts to email you a download link through our configured Microsoft Outlook email service.
The tools use predefined scoring and written guidance. The assessment workflows do not use generative AI to analyse your answers or write your report.
CoLab Works also receives an internal submission notification containing contact details, selected assessment information, your follow-up preference and a report link where available. Your information is stored and an internal notification is attempted whether or not you request follow-up.
We respect your follow-up preference and do not initiate optional follow-up discussions unless you request them. Declining follow-up does not prevent you from receiving results.
Submissions may remain stored if report generation or email delivery fails. Please treat report download links as confidential.
Assessment results are general guidance and do not replace advice tailored to your circumstances.
5. Sharing information and service providers
We use external providers to operate our website, assessments and communications, including:
Framer: website hosting and functionality.
Zite: assessment applications, submission storage and PDF generation.
Microsoft 365 / Outlook: email delivery and correspondence.
We may also share relevant information with professional advisers, where legally required, or where necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Where a provider processes personal information on our behalf, we are responsible for ensuring appropriate data processing arrangements are in place.
6. International processing
We use external providers to support our website, assessments and communications. These services may involve processing personal information outside the European Economic Area.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information for the period needed for its purpose, taking account of legal obligations and any relevant claims.
When information is no longer required, it is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the applicable retention arrangements.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies and similar technologies store or access information on your device. We are reviewing their use across our website and online assessments so we can explain their purposes and the choices available to you.
For questions, contact hello@colabworks.ie.
