Professional introduction

My work focuses on helping organisations introduce new systems, improve services and support people through change. I work with leaders and frontline teams to understand what needs to happen, what it means for everyday work and what people need to make the transition successfully. My background combines business and project management with hands-on experience delivering technology and service improvement projects. This has included working with clinical teams, administrative staff, customer support functions and operational teams, each with different priorities and pressures. At CoLab Works, I bring a practical focus on change and implementation: connecting project delivery with the communications, training and support needed to make improvements part of everyday practice.

Relevant professional experience

My consulting experience includes supporting digital transformation across Ireland’s public health service, working with multiple clinical services to introduce new systems and ways of working. This has involved assessing readiness, coordinating deployment, supporting data migration and delivering training tailored to how each team operates. I’ve supported teams beyond launch through follow-up training, practical troubleshooting and feedback, helping organisations sustain adoption and respond where further support is needed. In housing, I’ve led the design and rollout of a customer support function, establishing workflows, responsibilities and escalation routes. Introducing a structured system for logging and managing requests helped reduce response times and gave management clearer information about demand and recurring issues. My wider experience includes requirements development and procurement for professional regulators, payroll system implementation, and operational improvement in the waste and recycling sector. I’ve also developed digital platforms from concept through to launch, coordinating technology, marketing and operations. I hold an MSc in Project Management from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School and a first-class honours BSc in Business and Management from Technological University Dublin.

How I approach my work

I start with how the work happens in practice. Spending time with the people using a system or delivering a service helps reveal what needs to improve and what a proposed change will mean for them. I aim to make change clear and manageable: explain the purpose, involve the right people and give teams opportunities to learn and provide feedback. Training works best when it reflects real tasks and situations. I pay attention to what happens after implementation. Whether people are using a system confidently, whether processes are working and whether the expected improvements are happening all matter. My aim is to leave organisations with the knowledge, confidence and practical tools to carry the work forward independently.
